Job summary

JobTrade invites an experienced Insurance Sales & Operations professional to drive motor insurance business across PV, CV, EV and LMM, focusing on attachment, renewals, and add-on covers. You will oversee policy issuance, documentation, reconciliation, and coordination with Mahindra Insurance Brokers and delivery teams for timely closures.

Proficiency in MIS reporting, CRM/DMS, and MS Office, plus strong negotiation and customer service skills, are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor insurance and related products.
• Experience in insurance sales, penetration and renewals.
• Ability to issue policies and maintain documentation.
• Experience with reconciliation, recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Insurance business & revenue drive across PV, CV, EV and LMM; ensure maximum insurance attachment/penetration for eligible vehicle sales.
• Policy issuance & process control: ensure timely processing and issuance of insurance policies; verify details before delivery.
• Insurance renewal management: maintain renewal database and achieve monthly targets; follow-up with customers.
• Insurance reconciliation: reconcile premium, commission, receivables and ageing; ensure timely closure of differences.
• Recovery & outstanding management: track ageing and recoveries; escalate long-pending cases.
• Corporate tie-ups & business development: build relationships for new business and renewals.
• Mahindra Insurance Brokers coordination: coordinate quotations, policies, renewals, endorsements and recoveries.
• Customer support & complaint resolution: handle policy queries, explain terms and procedures, resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Insurance Business & Revenue Drive insurance business across PV, CV, EV and LMM. Ensure maximum insurance attachment/penetration for eligible vehicle sales. Monitor insurance targets, achievement and business mix. Drive add-on covers, renewals and insurance-related revenue. Coordinate with Sales, F&I and delivery teams for insurance closure.


• Policy Issuance & Process Control Ensure timely processing and issuance of insurance policies. Verify policy details, premium, vehicle details and coverage before delivery. Ensure insurance documentation is complete and accurate. Monitor pending proposals and policy issuance on a daily basis. Ensure compliance with dealership and insurer guidelines.


• Insurance Renewal Management Maintain and monitor the complete renewal database. Drive renewal calling and follow-up with existing customers. Achieve monthly renewal targets. Track renewal conversion and lost renewal cases. Promote suitable add-on covers and policy upgrades.


• Insurance Reconciliation Conduct regular reconciliation of insurance business with Accounts, DMS, insurer records and Mahindra Insurance Brokers . Reconcile policy-wise premium, commission, receivables and outstanding amounts. Identify mismatches, short receipts, pending credits and unadjusted transactions. Ensure timely closure of reconciliation differences. Maintain proper reconciliation statements and supporting documents.


• Recovery & Outstanding Management Monitor insurance-related outstanding and recoverable amounts. Follow up with insurers, Mahindra Insurance Brokers and concerned stakeholders for pending recoveries. Track ageing of outstanding recoveries and ensure timely closure. Escalate long-pending recovery cases to management. Maintain a recovery tracker with responsibility and ageing.


• Corporate Tie-Ups & Business Development Identify and develop corporate/company insurance tie-ups for new business and renewals. Build relationships with corporates, institutions and fleet customers. Coordinate corporate insurance requirements, quotations and policy issuance. Develop recurring business opportunities through corporate relationships. Maintain a database of corporate accounts and renewal opportunities.


• Mahindra Insurance Brokers Coordination Act as the key dealership coordinator with Mahindra Insurance Brokers for insurance-related matters. Coordinate quotations, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, reconciliation and recoveries. Ensure timely resolution of pending cases and escalations. Monitor business performance and applicable OEM/Mahindra insurance processes. Maintain regular communication and performance follow-up with Mahindra Insurance Brokers.
