Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in India is seeking a dedicated Instrumentation Engineer to lead implementation and maintenance activities. The role emphasizes zero leakage, CAPEX within budget, and timely completion of projects involving DCS and PLC systems in a power plant setting.

You will drive preventive maintenance, track costs, ensure ISO9001/IATF compliance, and document procedures while guiding new hires and coordinating with multiple departments to uphold quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have B.Tech/BE in Instrumentation and relevant experience.
• Strong focus on preventive maintenance and asset care.
• Experience in maintaining ISO9001/IATF quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement/Instrument related maintenance and capex within budget.
• Maintain CB plant availability at target 97% (7 days).
• Plan and execute maintenance with world-class standards and checklists.
• Coordinate with other departments and train new joiners.

Roles and Responsibilities

1) Implementation/ Instrument Related Maintenance

• Zero CB leakage at Site - Identification of carbon, Utility leakages from different sources.
• Achieve Maintenance conversion cost as per budget
• CAPEX Implementation within budget and timeline.
• Leak Mapping and timely completion of identifying leaks.
• Planning and execution of quality work in time- DCS System and Configuration
• PLC System and Configuration
• Instrumentation- P&ID PFD, Power Plant Operation (Turbine)- CPP
• Field Instruments Calibration
• Flow Measuring equipment
• Pollution Monitoring Equipment
• OCP Implementation
• Auto Packers etc
• Execution of Capex activities as per scheduled timeline.
• Aligning new joinees' and inputs for ensuring their readiness at the earliest.

2) Meets Engineering financial objectives

• Adherence to annual budget; scheduling expenditures;
• Execute preventive maintenance rather than breakdown. All expenditures are to be controlled within the yearly budget.
• Analysis & Control of Cost of the maintenance department.

3) Availability of CB Plant- 97% (7 days)

• Adherence to maintenance schedule -PM, PDM for all equipment.
• Project Implementation as per proposed plan
• Use of standard Checklist and inspection sheet while doing maintenance ( world-class maintenance ). Following standard maintenance procedure during execution.
• Project execution as per timeline and within budget.

4) Maintaining Quality

• Maintaining Quality Management systems as per ISO9001/IATF requirements implementations
• Documentation and reporting formats and ensuring adherence to the same
• Communication, Implementation & training as per audit plan in coordination with other departments.
