Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Indore seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to lead the implementation and maintenance of field instruments, DCS and PLC systems, ensuring leak-free operation and calibration.

Role requires adherence to PM/PDM schedules, CAPEX budgeting, and ongoing support to junior engineers while aligning with ISO9001/IATF quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in Instrumentation (B.Tech/BE)
• Experience with maintenance planning and CAPEX within budget
• Knowledge of ISO9001/IATF quality standards and documentation

Responsibilities

• Zero CB leakage at site and identify carbon/utility leakages.
• Plan and execute CAPEX within budget and timeline.
• Maintenance of DCS, PLC systems and instrumentation P&ID/PFD.
• Field instruments calibration and flow measuring equipment.
• Align new joinees and inputs for readiness.
• Adherence to PM and PDM schedules.
• Maintain quality management per ISO9001/IATF and audit readiness.

Roles and Responsibilities

1) Implementation/ Instrument Related Maintenance

• Zero CB leakage at Site - Identification of carbon, Utility leakages from different sources.
• Achieve Maintenance conversion cost as per budget
• CAPEX Implementation within budget and timeline.
• Leak Mapping and timely completion of identifying leaks.
• Planning and execution of quality work in time- DCS System and Configuration
• PLC System and Configuration
• Instrumentation- P&ID PFD, Power Plant Operation (Turbine)- CPP
• Field Instruments Calibration
• Flow Measuring equipment
• Pollution Monitoring Equipment
• OCP Implementation
• Auto Packers etc
• Execution of Capex activities as per scheduled timeline.
• Aligning new joinees' and inputs for ensuring their readiness at the earliest.

2) Meets Engineering financial objectives

• Adherence to annual budget; scheduling expenditures;
• Execute preventive maintenance rather than breakdown. All expenditures are to be controlled within the yearly budget.
• Analysis & Control of Cost of the maintenance department.

3) Availability of CB Plant- 97% (7 days)

• Adherence to maintenance schedule -PM, PDM for all equipment.
• Project Implementation as per proposed plan
• Use of standard Checklist and inspection sheet while doing maintenance ( world-class maintenance ). Following standard maintenance procedure during execution.
• Project execution as per timeline and within budget.

4) Maintaining Quality

• Maintaining Quality Management systems as per ISO9001/IATF requirements implementations
• Documentation and reporting formats and ensuring adherence to the same
• Communication, Implementation & training as per audit plan in coordination with other departments.
