Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking an experienced Instrument Design Engineer for offshore oil & gas projects in Mumbai. The role focuses on SP3D-based instrument design, loops, and indexing, along with SLDs and P&IDs for process control systems.

The ideal candidate has 10–20 years of experience in offshore instrument design, proficiency in SP3D and SmartPlant 3D, and familiarity with FPSO projects or similar facilities.

Formación

• Experience in instrument design engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of SP3D for designing instruments, loops, and indexes.
• Experience with FPSO projects or similar complex offshore facilities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design instruments, instrument loops, and instrument index for offshore oil & gas projects using SP3D software.
• Create single-line diagrams (SLDs) and P&IDs for process control systems.
• Develop cable schedule drawings and instrument hookup drawings for FPSO installation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements and standards compliance.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and startup phases of the project.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of Smart Plant 3D software for creating SLDs and P&IDs.
  
• Experience working on FPSO projects or similar complex industrial facilities preferred.
