Job Description:
- Prepare and review detailed engineering documents, including:
- Instrument Index, I/O list, Data Sheets, Hook‑up drawings, and Cable schedules
- Control philosophy, Logic diagrams, and Cause & Effect matrix
- Review vendor documents for analysers, transmitters, control valves, safety valves, skids, and packages.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, ATEX, SIL, and other applicable standards.
- Support HAZOP, SIL assessment, and participate in design reviews.
- Manage instrumentation procurement – technical bid evaluation, vendor discussions, and inspection.
- Oversee field instrumentation installation, loop checking, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and clients during pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to project schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support during start‑up and stabilisation of hydrogen plant operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3-6 years in Control & Instrumentation engineering.
- Knowledge of PLC/DCS programming, communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC), and integration with SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx), SIL-rated systems, and functional safety practices.
- Strong problem‑solving, coordination, and communication skills.
