Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Instrument Software Developer in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies, building RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

You will work with SQL Server or other relational databases, follow best practices, and participate in code reviews and system architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Core.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET (Core/6+).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to deliver solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Work with SQL Server or relational databases, and write queries.
• Familiarity with Git or other VCS; understand REST APIs, JSON and HTTP concepts.
