ROLE OVERVIEW:
Position Title: Assistant / Associate Professor in Information Technology & Business Analytics (IT & BA)

Job Location: Ghaziabad

Reporting to: Dean (Academics)

Location: IMT CDL, Ghaziabad

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Strong academic experience to carry out teaching, research and MDP in the area of IT & Business Analytics.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Prepare curriculum and instruction for Information Technology & Business Analytics specialization courses in programs offered by IMT CDL.
  2. Be passionate about the subject and be an effective guide and mentor to the student groups.
  3. Participate as a member of an instructional team to promote learning activities for students consistent with the program objectives.
  4. Have thorough knowledge of policies that pertain to instructional design, student interaction, student discipline, etc.
  5. Utilize and implement classroom management techniques to the student community with engaging communication and creativity.
  6. Evaluate effectiveness of learning strategies and outcomes of educational activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs.
  7. Participate in Board of Studies Advisory Committee to design, develop and plan Self Learning Material.
  8. Present scholarly papers and represent the Institute at various national and international conferences/seminars/workshops.
  9. Undertake consultancy assignments and interactions with the industry.
  10. Proactively create and deliver corporate training programs and MDPs.
  11. Engage and lead in the development of core and industry-relevant certificate courses.
  12. Perform other academic-related duties as assigned from time to time.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  1. Experience: Relevant teaching experience in classroom as well as online mode, having a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in teaching; Preference will be given to those with experience in training and consultancy related work, with a strong track record in research and other scholarly activities.
  2. Educational Qualification: Masters, PhD in relevant discipline(s).
