Position Summary
We are seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer – PKI Level 2 for our Device Management team with over 2 to 5 years of experience in the field. The team member will be responsible for administration and BAU of the internal and external PKI deployments. He will overall handle the PKI infrastructure via PKI administration software such as AD Cert Services and AppViewX. The ideal candidate should be well‑versed in change and incident‑management processes and willing to work in a 24×7 shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in cryptography and usage of private and public keys.
- Strong understanding and experience in certificate lifecycle management (SSL/TLS certificate issuance, renewals, and revocations).
- Understanding and hands‑on experience of various methods of CSR generation on different platforms such as Windows, Linux, appliances, etc., and the ability to identify a need for a certificate in an application.
- Educate stakeholders with appropriate certificate requirements such as multi‑domain and wildcards.
- Identify the exact requirement from business and issue certificates from internal CA (MSPKI) and external CA (Sectigo) for different service applications.
- Extensive working knowledge of configurations and maintenance of CLM tools, preferably AppViewX.
- Experience in maintenance and support of PKI such as CA server operations, CRL publishing, templates management, etc.
- Ability to track and bring issues to closure through coordination with several working groups.
- Working knowledge of HSMs and their maintenance/support.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PKI processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance to other IT staff and end users on PKI related topics.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Understanding and experience with incident, change, and service‑request management on ServiceNow.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in one of: Computer Science or Related filed.
- Experience level – 2 to 5 years.
- CCNA, CCNP or MCSE or any other equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience in administration and BAU of the internal and external PKI deployments.
- Overall handling of the PKI infrastructure via PKI administration software such as AD Cert Services and AppViewX.
- Well‑versed in change and incident‑management processes and willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment.
