Overview

To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.

Responsibilities

• Build, deliver, and maintain high‑quality infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and ensure reliability, performance, and availability.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to detect, investigate, and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, or outages; use data to reduce mean time to resolution.
• Develop and implement automated scripts and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention, using languages such as Python, Ansible, or similar.
• Implement secure configuration and controls to protect infrastructure from cyber‑attacks, vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, architects and engineers to define requirements, design solutions and ensure integration with business objectives.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends and contribute to technical communities to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications – Basic / Essential

• Solid network fundamentals and troubleshooting across routing, switching, WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, and edge services.
• Experience supporting operational processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Working knowledge of enterprise network technologies and operational tooling.
• Awareness of change, risk, and control requirements in regulated environments.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (Python, Ansible) to support operational tasks.

Qualifications – Desirable / Good to have

• Experience supporting monitoring, alerting, and service health improvements.
• Experience with automated configuration, validation or deployment tooling.
• Awareness of hybrid and cloud connectivity concepts.
• Experience working with vendor or third‑party delivered services.
• Demonstrated progression toward independent ownership of assigned services or domains.
