JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms team in India. You will be a seasoned member of an agile team, designing and delivering trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way to support the firm’s business objectives.

You will maintain large-scale infrastructure across servers, networks and databases hosting the API Gateway Platforms, drive monitoring and capacity analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks

Qualifikationen

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in Operations and SRE of Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, resilience and performance assessments.

• Maintain and manage a large-scale infrastructure of servers, networks and databases hosting API Gateway Platforms.
• Apply technical knowledge to projects of moderate scope with end-to-end monitoring of applications.
• Identify opportunities to convert operational problems into software solutions.

• Execute conventional approaches to build or decompose technical problems.
• Support daily activities around standard infrastructure and capacity processes.

• Be accountable for significant decisions in multi-technology projects.

As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Maintaining and managing a large scale infrastructure of servers, network and databases hosting the API Gateway Platforms
• Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applications
• Finding opportunity for converting operational problems into a software solution
• Resolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation path
• Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems
• Drives the daily activities supporting the standard infrastructure and the capacity process around it
• Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses
• Considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications
• Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate monitoring and capacity analysis and documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and improve remediation workflows, ensuring changes are validated and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands on experience on Operations and SRE of Infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments
• Thinking Observability, SLA and SLO
• Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
• Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
