Job summary

Anaplan in Gurugram, India seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain private and public cloud infrastructure. You will manage NetApp storage, Linux systems, and automation with Terraform and Ansible, ensuring reliability, security and scale.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document configurations, and participate in on-call rotations while working hybrid—remote with onsite support—across global engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with NetApp ONTAP storage administration and troubleshooting, including on-premises MetroCluster deployments and cloud FSxN/CVO variants.
• Server hardware management including firmware upgrades, component replacements, and RMA processes.
• Strong Grafana proficiency: dashboards, exporters, alerting as code via Terraform.
• 3+ years in an infrastructure or systems engineering role.
• Linux system administration experience (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Proficiency in IaC and automation tools Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience managing OpenStack VMs: provisioning, lifecycle, troubleshooting.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our global team and help design, implement, and maintain our private and public cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in NetApp storage, server hardware management, Grafana, Linux system administration and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. You will play a key role in managing and optimising our infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot NetApp storage solutions.
• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security and uptime.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular updates, and perform issue resolution.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support business needs.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Work remotely while collaborating closely with onsite engineers to support hardware installations, upgrades, RMA processes, troubleshooting, maintenance, and other critical infrastructure tasks as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP storage administration and troubleshooting, including on-premises MetroCluster deployments and FSxN and CVO in public cloud environments.
• Experience with server hardware management, including firmware upgrades, component replacements, and RMA processes.
• Strong Grafana proficiency: building and maintaining custom metric exporters and integrating externally provided exporters; designing dashboards; and managing alerting configuration as code, deployed via Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience in an infrastructure or systems engineering role.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience managing virtual machines on OpenStack, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

Proven scripting skills, ideally with Python.
