• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting (network, system, hardware).
• Knowledge of High Availability, clustering, failover, and load balancing.

Job description

• As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key driver and doer in a fundamental shift in how we architect and host our application estate.


• You will be an advocate to enable a composable technology foundation.


• Your focus will be on both assisting in the ideation and realization of what our next generation platform will encompass, as well as helping our Product teams in implementing products.


• Execute technical practices and engineering methodologies.


• Work on building high quality, architecturally sound systems that are aligned with our business needs.


• Participate in POCs for new technology solutions.


• Handling and automating day to day administration tasks including systems reporting and system tuning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering


• 5+ years of experience of engineering experience at scale


• Experience with diverse operational systems both on prem (virtual and physical) and in Cloud (Azure and Google)


• Develop and implement solutions using Python (or other programming language), CLI, PowerShell, GPOs


• Experience in system performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting experience including network, system, and hardware optimization for low latency.


• Experience with High Availability, clustering, failover, and load balancing


• Red Hat and/or Microsoft Windows Server certification is a plus


• Excellent communication skills, solid work ethic, and a strong desire to write production quality code.


• Knowledge of programming languages, operating system principles, networking, and software development best practices.


• Experience of working with offshore teams


• Experience of Test-Driven Development approaches


• Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, and workflows
