Egis India Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Drafter in Bengaluru to support civil projects with accurate drafting and schematic drawings. You will work under Senior Drafters to produce drawings, review them for quality, and maintain alignment with project specifications.

The role requires 2–4 years of drafting experience, a Civil Engineering diploma, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Description

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient drafting services and assist in the production of schematic drawings. The role undertakes detailed drafting tasks of limited scope and complexity under the direction and guidance of Senior Drafters.

Core Responsibilities

• Closely liaise with Project Management, Engineering, and Design teams to produce drawings and draft plans that are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with drafting standards and specifications.
• Present drawings to production and construction teams, clients, and consultants, and implement adjustments where required.
• Provide technical drafting support and contribute to the design of a variety of civil-related projects.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) and design software as required.
• Continuously develop and enhance skills in Computer-Aided Drafting and design applications.
• Comply with the Quality Management System and ensure consistency and accuracy in all drafting outputs.
• Workwith statutory authorities as requiredandensure compliance with council standards and regulations.
• Assistinthe preparation of BillofQuantities(BOQ)forsubdivisionandinfrastructureprojects,ensuringaccuracyandtimelydelivery.
• CollaborateeffectivelywithEngineeringandDesign teams toensurequality project outcomes.
• Maintainpositiveworkingrelationshipsandupholdprofessionalintegrity.
• Performadministrative activities related to drawing production and support project documentationasrequired.

Qualifications

• Diplomain Civil Engineering or otherrelevant tertiary qualification.

Essential Experience

• 2 to 4 years of experiencein asimilar drafting position or related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on Civil Infrastructure, Land Development, Transportation, Utilities, or Subdivision projects.
• Familiarity with council standards, statutory requirements,andengineering documentation processes.
