Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking automation specialists to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale automation across mainframe modernization and cloud integrations. You will work on refactoring legacy code, enabling cloud and mobile interactions with core data, and driving automation maturity across the organization.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of container technologies, container setup, and orchestration platforms.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipeline implementation and release automation.
• Running test cases for automation validation.
• Proven experience integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs and custom automation modules.
• Strong scripting and automation development skills in PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python.

The Role

Your role. Bring your specialist knowledge and experience to a company managing 50% of the world’s MIPS and play a critical role in our modernization mission. In this role, you’ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you’ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe’s core data.

What you will do

• Maintain Performance – Prevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.
• Debug and Test – Find and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
• Develop for the Future – Bridge the gap: As an instrumental player in modernization, you’ll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
