Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and infrastructure administration.
• Deep understanding of compute, storage, networking, and security technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure architecture and systems design.
• Experience designing and implementing: Database platforms, Storage systems, Caching solutions, Web and application infrastructure, High-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Expertise in infrastructure performance analysis, troubleshooting, and tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Architecture & Design – Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures.
• Develop infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Architect solutions across compute, storage, networking, security, and application hosting layers.
• Design highly available and disaster-resilient infrastructure environments.
• Systems Engineering – Lead the design and deployment of Linux-based infrastructure platforms.
• Architect and optimize enterprise-grade systems including: Database platforms, Storage platforms, Caching systems, Web and application tiers, Middleware infrastructure.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
• Performance Engineering – Conduct infrastructure assessments and capacity planning exercises.
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across infrastructure layers.
• Lead performance tuning initiatives for operating systems, databases, storage, networking, and applications.
• Establish performance benchmarks and operational metrics.
• Kubernetes & Modern Platforms – Design and support Kubernetes-based platforms for containerized workloads.
• Define deployment, scalability, security, and operational best practices for Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate Kubernetes with enterprise infrastructure services and monitoring platforms.
• Security & Governance – Design infrastructure solutions aligned with security and compliance
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams.
• Review infrastructure designs and implementation plans.
• Mentor engineers on infrastructure best practices and modern platform technologies.
• Participate in technology evaluations and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
