Job summary

EY in Mumbai seeks an experienced Advisor-GOV-SaT-SaT - TCF - Infrastructure Advisory to work with the Government & Public Sector, focusing on environmental and regulatory aspects of infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on E&S expertise and collaboration across multiple client departments.

Key duties include due diligence, ESMP preparation, and ensuring compliance with safeguard requirements, while engaging with stakeholders and overseeing reporting obligations for development

Qualifications

• Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning or Related Environmental Discipline.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in environmental screening, due diligence, and impact assessment for infrastructure projects using approved E&S tools.
• Proficiency in preparing and updating ESMPs and supporting compliance with safeguard frameworks, loan covenants, and statutory requirements.
• Review contractor ESMPs, embed environmental clauses in bid/contract documents, and monitor field-level implementation.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management, including hazardous materials, transformer oil, PCB equipment, SF6 gas, and solar panel disposal.
• Support groundwater sustainability initiatives, stakeholder consultations, GRM implementation, and regulatory reporting for development projects.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Hands-on experience in environmental screening, due diligence, and impact assessment for infrastructure projects using approved E&S tools. Strong capability in preparing and updating ESMPs and supporting compliance with safeguard frameworks, loan covenants, and statutory requirements.
