Required Skills:
Proven experience in transition management, including planning, execution, and post-transition stabilization.
Strong knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks for transitioning services from development to operational environments.
Experience managing transitions in complex environments, such as large-scale IT infrastructure, cloud migration, or outsourcing initiatives.
Project management skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, and resources in large-scale projects.
Excellent understanding of risk management and ability to mitigate risks during transitions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Proficiency in change management practices, helping teams adapt to new processes, technologies, or organizational structures.
Preferred Skills:
ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Experience with outsourcing, cloud migrations, or large-scale organizational transformations.
Familiarity with tools and technologies used for operational transitions, such as monitoring systems, ticketing systems, and support tools.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in transition management or similar roles involving project management and change management.
Demonstrated experience in handling transitions across multi-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
