Position Description

We are looking for creative, technical problem solvers to join our Automation practice that advises clients on the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cognitive Technologies to achieve business outcomes such as cost reduction, capability enhancement and risk mitigation.

Our RPA consulting team in Bangalore interfaces with ISG teams in North America and Europe to design, develop and deploy RPA solutions for clients globally utilizing RPA software such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath and others.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Develops and configures automation processes as per the solution design document (SDD) to meet the defined requirements.
  2. Approaches development from a modular point of view, ensuring reusability and ease of maintenance.
  3. Configure/develop in accordance with best practices ensuring a reliable and hardened automation.
  4. Perform testing of the solution in accordance with standardized test practices.
  5. Support teams during UAT and Production/Pilot phases.
  6. Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
  7. Maintain documentation according to firm standards, best practices, and standard operating procedures.

  3. Ability to facilitate effective interaction between clients, suppliers, and ISG colleagues.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good client interaction skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience as well as produce clear and concise written documentation.
  5. An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
Required Skills, Experience, Qualifications:
  1. An IT or Business Degree.
  2. 2+ years of professional services experience preferably in automation projects.
  3. Understands software development methodology, configuration management and lifecycle.
  4. 1-2 years of experience with one or more RPA tools is required.
  5. Experience using cloud-based ticketing portals.
  6. Knows how to prioritize requests effectively and efficiently and work with a sense of urgency as determined by the client or management.
Mandatory Skills
  1. Certification in Automation Anywhere.
  2. 1+ years’ experience of working on a help/service desk.
  3. Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
  4. Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication is a must.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting skills applying logic.
  6. Articulate, speaks and writes English well.
  7. Self-starter, accustomed to working in a busy and dynamic environment.
  8. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Exchange proficiency, ZenDesk or similar ticketing platform.

NOTE: Must be willing to work in rotational (24/7) shifts.
