Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune is seeking an Infoblox Administrator/Engineer (L2) to manage Infoblox DDI infrastructure and ensure DNS/DHCP/IPAM availability. The role requires 6-8 years of hands-on experience and collaboration with Network, Security, Cloud, and Application teams.

Responsibilities include migrations, upgrades, and documentation, with on-call support and adherence to security and change-management processes.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience administering Infoblox DDI.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Infoblox Grid architecture and Grid Master/Member Management.
• Experience with DNS forwarding, zone delegation, and DNS security.
• Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge including routing, switching, and subnetting.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise DNS issues.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
• Experience with Change, Incident and Problem Management processes.

Must Have

• Work with Network, Security, Cloud, and Application teams for infrastructure integrations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and change management procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident handling when required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI Administration.
• Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM concepts.
• Experience with Infoblox Grid architecture, Grid Master, and Member Management.
• Knowledge of DNS forwarding, conditional forwarding, zone delegation, and DNS security.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and subnetting.
• Experience in troubleshooting enterprise network and DNS-related issues.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
• Good knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DNS, AWS Route 53, Hybrid Cloud DNS integrations.
• Exposure to automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.
• Knowledge of DNS Security, DNS Firewall, and DNS Threat Protection solutions.
• Experience in VMware, Windows Server, or Linux environments.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
