Job summary

Yotta Infrastructure is seeking a seasoned networking professional to join our AI/HPC infrastructure team in Delhi. You will manage InfiniBand interconnects, diagnose fabric issues, collect logs, and work with server ops and OEMs to keep large-scale clusters performing at peak.

Responsibilities include lifecycle engagement from design through deployment, real-time monitoring, and proactive health checks, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional networking experience.
• Proficiency configuring and troubleshooting InfiniBand networks in HPC/AI.
• Strong customer-facing and collaboration skills.
• Linux or networking certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of Mellanox OS, Cumulus Linux and SONiC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain InfiniBand interconnect for AI/HPC infrastructure.
• Day-to-day operations include diagnosis of InfiniBand fabric, collecting logs, analysing data and issue resolution.
• Closely working with server operations team.
• Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters, focusing on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Work with OEM by opening support ticket, documenting workarounds.
• Follow & commit with Yotta's Policy statements (eg. QMS/EMS/OHS/ISMS/PIMS/ITSM / BCMS / EnMS etc.).
• Undertake applicable training as communicated from time to time.
• Understand the organization's expectations towards all management systems the company is certified for.
• Participation in Risk assessment process, contribute in achieving departmental & management system objectives.
• Adhere to confidentiality policy to safeguard sensitive company information, maintain trust with clients and partners, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Perform their duties in the event of emergency as per roles in ERP/BCMS plan.
• Assist in maintaining PIMS controls throughout personal data lifecycle

We are looking for someone with the ability to work on a dynamic customer-focused team that requires excellent interpersonal skills. This role will be interacting with customers, partners and internal teams, to analyze, define and implement large-scale Networking projects. The scope of these efforts includes a combination of Networking, System Design and Automation and being the face to the customer!

• 5-8 years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, InfiniBand fundamentals and data center architecture
• Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and resolving issues in InfiniBand networks, especially in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments.
• Advanced knowledge of HPC/AI networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with InfiniBand network switch/router platforms
• Strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
• Self-motivated with leadership skills to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening skills are essential.
• InfiniBand certification and storage operational experience managing large HPC clusters with IB as interconnect.

• Having Knowledge like Mellanox OS, Cumulus Linux, SONiC
• Linux or Networking Certifications.
• Knowledge in link level performance and diagnostics.
• Experience with High-performance computing architectures.
