Job summary

Lancesoft invites applications for a role focused on high-performance networking for distributed AI workloads. You will design and manage InfiniBand fabrics, including HDR/NDR, and oversee NVIDIA UFM and switch management to optimize performance.

You will leverage RDMA, GPUDirect RDMA and NCCL knowledge to support scalable training, while maintaining Linux systems, OFED, and network tuning. Scripting with Python, Bash, and Ansible will automate fabric tasks.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of InfiniBand architectures and routing.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA UFM and switch management.
• Strong understanding of RDMA, GPUDirect RDMA and NCCL.
• Solid Linux administration including OFED.
• Strong Ethernet/IP networking and RoCE familiarity.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize InfiniBand fabric including HDR/NDR configurations.
• Manage NVIDIA UFM and Quantum switches (MLNX-OS/ONYX).
• Analyze RDMA performance and its impact on distributed AI training.
• Terse Linux admin tasks: drivers, OFED, tuning.
• Ensure network routing (L2/L3) and RoCE functionality.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible).
• Communicate fabric decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of InfiniBand architecture: HDR, NDR, subnet management, LIDs and GIDs, routing, virtual lanes and credit-based flow control.
• Hands‑on experience with NVIDIA UFM and Quantum switch management (MLNX-OS / ONYX or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of RDMA, GPUDirect RDMA, NCCL and how network behavior affects distributed AI training.
• Solid Linux administration, including network drivers, OFED and host tuning.
• Strong Ethernet and IP networking fundamentals (L2/L3, VLANs, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN) and familiarity with RoCE.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible).
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain fabric design decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
