Job summary

Masai is seeking an Industry Mentor to teach Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science topics remotely on a part-time basis. You will run live online classes, guide adult learners, review assignments, and collaborate with the curriculum team to keep students on track.

The role requires hands-on data science/ML experience, strong communication, and the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms. Weekly hours are 3–6, with compensation ₹13,000 to ₹40,000 per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, AI or a related role. If you've taught before, 1 to 2 years is enough.
• Online teaching experience (a must)
• The ability to explain tough ideas in simple words
• Patience with adult learners from different backgrounds who learn at different speeds
• Comfort with online teaching tools like Zoom, screen sharing and digital whiteboards
• Reliable and on time. Students plan their evenings around your class.

You learned the industry the hard way. Help someone learn it the easy way.

At Masai, industry mentors lead our main live classes. You'll teach topics from scratch, share how things really work on the job, and make sure every student gets hands-on with the tools the industry actually uses.

What you'll do

• Teach live online classes, starting from the basics and building up step by step
• Share industry best practices, real examples and the mistakes to avoid
• Give every student hands-on practice with popular tools and frameworks in the field

Who we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, AI or a related role. If you've taught before, 1 to 2 years is enough.

Never taught online? If you can explain things so simply that a beginner gets it, the way Richard Feynman did, you might be a teacher who just hasn't tried yet. We may invite you to a demo round.
