Job summary

Humanising Design in Hyderabad is seeking a full-time Industrial Product Designer to transform ideas into real, scalable products. You will work closely with engineers, strategists, and vendors from concept to production, delivering high-quality visuals and manufacturable designs.

The role emphasizes parametric modeling, fast iteration, and attention to detail, with responsibilities across 3D CAD, sketches, renders, drawings, and prototyping, ensuring usability and production feasibility.

Qualifications

• Independently create accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, Rhino or similar software
• Develop product concepts through sketches, form exploration and digital visualisation
• Create realistic product renders in appropriate real-world contexts
• Translate approved concepts into detailed, functional and manufacturable designs
• Prepare clear 2D technical drawings, dimensions and basic production documentation
• Understand fundamental materials, manufacturing processes, assembly methods and mechanisms
• Make design decisions based on usability, ergonomics, functionality and production feasibility
• Create and refine physical prototypes to test form, scale, function and interaction
• Incorporate feedback accurately and complete revisions within agreed timelines
• Organise and maintain editable CAD files, render files and project documentation
• Manage assigned tasks independently across multiple project stages and deadlines
• Communicate progress, questions and potential delays clearly and proactively
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and vendors to refine products for manufacturing
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership from initial concept through final delivery
