Job summary

Humanising Design is seeking a full-time Industrial Product Designer I to join our Hyderabad studio. You will rapidly translate concepts into production-ready designs, working with engineers and vendors to bring ideas to life.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial/product design, strong skills in parametric modelling and high-quality visualisation, and the ability to deliver detailed CAD and production documentation with speed and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial/product design experience.
• Proficient in parametric modelling and concept development.
• Skilled in creating realistic product renders.

Responsibilities

• Independently create accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, Rhino or similar software.
• Develop product concepts through sketches, form exploration and digital visualisation.
• Create realistic product renders in appropriate real-world contexts.
• Translate approved concepts into detailed, functional and manufacturable designs.
• Prepare clear 2D technical drawings, dimensions and basic production documentation.
• Understand fundamental materials, manufacturing processes, assembly methods and mechanisms.
• Make design decisions based on usability, ergonomics, functionality and production feasibility.
• Create and refine physical prototypes to test form, scale, function and interaction.
• Incorporate feedback accurately and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
• Organise and maintain editable CAD files, render files and project documentation.
• Manage assigned tasks independently across multiple project stages and deadlines.
• Communicate progress, questions and potential delays clearly and proactively.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and vendors to refine products for manufacturing.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership from initial concept through final delivery.
