Job summary

Humanising Design is seeking a full-time Industrial Product Designer to join our Hyderabad studio. You will work on concepts through production-ready designs, collaborating with engineers and vendors to bring ideas to life.

You should be proficient in parametric modeling and visualisation, delivering accurate CAD models and high-quality renders within tight timelines. This role emphasizes speed without compromising design intent and detail.

• 2+ years of experience in industrial/product design.
• Strong in parametric & concept design tools.
• Polished, realistic renders produced.
• Value speed, efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently create accurate 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, Rhino or similar software.
• Develop product concepts through sketches, form exploration and digital visualization.
• Create realistic product renders in appropriate real-world contexts.
• Translate approved concepts into detailed, functional and manufacturable designs.
• Prepare clear 2D technical drawings, dimensions and basic production documentation.
• Understand fundamental materials, manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Make design decisions based on usability, ergonomics, functionality and production feasibility.
• Create and refine physical prototypes to test form, scale, function and interaction.
• Incorporate feedback accurately and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
• Organize and maintain editable CAD files, render files and project documentation.
• Manage assigned tasks independently across multiple project stages and deadlines.
• Communicate progress, questions and potential delays clearly and proactively.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and vendors to refine products for manufacturing.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership from initial concept through final delivery.
