Job summary

Michelin Vietnam offers a 6-month Industrial Engineer Internship in the Progress & Planning Department. You will support time studies, workflow analysis, and utilization measurements to boost productivity and efficiency across dedicated workstations.

You will apply Lean principles, basic statistics, and data collection to develop digital solutions for monitoring production performance under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Industrial System Engineering or Industrial Engineering Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with industrial engineering software such as AutoCAD, Minitab, Power BI.
• Eagerness to learn and apply lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform time studies and work sampling to establish standard times.
• Analyze machine and operator workflows to improve productivity.
• Measure People Utilization and OEE to identify bottlenecks.
• Help develop digital tools for monitoring production performance.

As an Industrial Engineer Intern in the Progress & Planning Department, you will support the analysis and optimization of production processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and workflow performance.We are building a more efficient, data-driven manufacturing environment through Lean Manufacturing principles, time study techniques, and digital solutions. In this role, you will work with the team to conduct time studies, analyze machine and operator workflows, measure people utilization and OEE, and identify opportunities to balance workloads and improve workstation efficiency.
