Job summary

Valeo India Private Limited is hiring for an Indirect Purchasing Buyer to oversee supplier relationships, manage RFQ/negotiation, and ensure accurate supplier data across PuMa and SAP from its Chennai operations.

This full-time, permanent position requires collaboration with the Non Production Purchasing Network and compliance with group ethics. The role emphasizes productivity actions, dematerialization, and online catalog development to optimize indirect purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor QCD supplier relationship on perimeter per targets set by Non Production Purchasing Network and in accordance with Group Compliance and Ethics rules.
• Propose and implement productivity actions in collaboration with the Segment Organisation.
• Maintain supplier panel and ensure supplier data in PuMa and SAP is updated and accurate.
• Perform RFQ, negotiation and ordering processes in line with NPP instructions within the e-procurement system.
• Make extensive use of e-auctions to drive value and efficiency.
• Resolve daily operational issues and liaise/escalate to the appropriate NPP Network contact (SSC Manager, Segment Leader).
• Support and enforce the dematerialization process and develop online catalogs where appropriate.

Monitor QCD supplier relationship on his/her perimeter in line with QCD Target set by Non Production Purchasing Network and in accordance with Compliance and Ethical rules of the Group. Proposes and Implement productivity actions in collaboration with the Segment Organisation. Maintain his/her supplier panel and ensures Supplier information recorded in the systems (PuMa, SAP) is updated and accurate. Performs RFQ, Negotiation and Ordering Process in compliance with instructions and procedures set by NPP Organization within e-procurement system. Make extensive usage of e-auctions Solves daily operational issues to answer internal customer need, and liaise/escalate when needed to the appropriate contact within the NPP Network (SSC Manager, Segment Leader…) Support and enforce dematerialization process Develop and Support usage of on line catalogs where appropriate.
