Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Hyderabad, India, seeks a senior professional to manage payroll accounting, controls, and month-end close for the India payroll. You will partner with HR and IT to ensure timely cycle closings and drive automation.

You will build self-service dashboards in Power BI/Tableau to analyze payroll metrics, review benefits and statutory compliance, and support finance transformation initiatives across the group.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate degree in Finance/MBA(Fin)/CA with 6 - 8 years of relevant India Payroll and Payroll Accounting experience
• Experience in Oracle GL, Excel financial modeling, Power BI/Tableau
• Strong working knowledge of India payroll acts, compliances and tax structures

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and final settlements for India payroll
• Partner with HR and IT teams to close payroll cycle on time
• Set up measures to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization
• Build internal control mechanisms for the India payroll team
• Collaborate with Controllership, Tax and FP&A in closing payroll transactions

• Review statutory procedures and labor laws updates and make recommendations

The position is a critical role in Global Finance India - responsibilities encompass activities associated with the payroll accounting and management, Internal control, compliance & Month-End Close activities. Responsible for smooth processing of the organizations monthly payroll and final settlements Partner with HR and IT teams for getting the payroll cycle closed on time Set up measures to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization Build strong internal control mechanisms for the India payroll team Collaborate with Controllership, Tax and FP&A teams in closing the monthly payroll transactions and driving monthly payroll analysis Build self-service financial dashboards on Power BI /Tableau to drive payroll analytics Review of employe benefits like Leave Encashment, Gratuity, Notice Pay reimbursements, Joining Bonus, Performance Bonus and Incentives etc. Review of statutory procedures and practices PF, PT & ESI etc Evaluate India payroll policies and relevant labor laws related updates on a periodic basis and make necessary recommendations Drive finance transformation initiates across the group

Technical and General Skills:

• Post Graduate degree in Finance/MBA(Fin)/CA with 6 - 8 years of relevant India Payroll and Payroll Accounting experience
