Job summary

The Hartford India is seeking an experienced IND Senior Software Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. You will contribute to enterprise-grade software projects using C#, .NET, and REST APIs across on-premise and cloud deployments.

You should have 4+ years of hands-on experience, strong SQL with Oracle, and comfort with Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with AWS and AI-assisted development tools is a plus, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise apps.
• Hands-on C# and .NET development; .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 8 preferred.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle; able to analyze data issues and troubleshoot queries.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based planning.
• Git/GitHub workflows, PRs, branch management, and code reviews.
• Understanding of unit/integration testing and DevSecOps practices.
• Cloud fundamentals with AWS exposure strongly preferred.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and review AI-generated output responsibly.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in enterprise application environments.
• Hands-on C# and .NET development experience; .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 8 proficiency preferred.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle experience; ability to analyze data issues and support query-level troubleshooting.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based planning/execution.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, branch management, and peer code reviews.

• Python experience for scripting, batch, data processing or automation.

• Observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or equivalent.
