Job summary

State Street Corporation in India seeks an Income COE Officer who will support Client Operations and shared services by monitoring and processing custody, accounting, and middle-office events to fund records accurately and timely. You will follow up on exceptions and enable prompt problem resolution to mitigate risk and deliver excellent service to clients.

The role emphasizes process optimization, resource and risk management, and collaboration with executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce/economics with a specialization in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• Inter C.A. / Inter ICWAI or CFA pursuing will be preferred; 10–16 years of experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations, loan servicing or related careers.

• Identify and implement improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Manage resources (people, budget, technology) effectively to achieve operational objectives.
• Track KPIs and identify areas for improvement, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and staff within the operations department.

• Ensure that operations deliver high-quality products or services meeting customer needs.
• Identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
• Deep knowledge of Income and Corporate Actions: income cycle, fund accounting, amortization, bonds, dividends, entitlement calculations, market and loan claims lifecycle, middle office operations and regulations.

Who we are looking for

As an Income COE Officer, the ideal candidate will support and assist Client Operations and other operational Shared Service teams/ Center of Excellence (COE’s) by monitoring and processing custody, accounting, middle office related events to the fund’s records accurately and timely. Ensure prompt follow up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk to the corporation and deliver excellent service to clients and people management.

Income COE deals with end to end processing of events across custody, accounting, middle office and claims services for our clients. This involves processing of many financial activities which will help other team to derive at NAV to the client, As part of Income COE you will be required to contribute towards development of Process, people and Improve Risk standards for the team.

What you will be responsible for

Education & Preferred Qualifications
