Qualifications

• GNM or BSc Nursing qualifications required.
• Experience in nursing supervision and ward management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and daily nursing activities.
• Allocate duties and prepare staff assignments and shift schedules.
• Monitor patient-care standards and nursing practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing and appropriate deployment.
• Conduct and supervise nursing handovers.
• Coordinate with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor medication administration and patient-safety practices.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation and records.
• Handle nursing-related patient and attendant concerns.
• Monitor nursing equipment, medicines, and consumable supplies.
• Ensure infection-control practices are followed.
• Support emergency management and critical patient-care activities.
• Train, guide, and mentor nursing staff.
• Monitor staff performance and identify training requirements.
• Report incidents, staffing concerns, and operational issues to nursing management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital nursing policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
