Job summary

Blue Yonder in India seeks an experienced Azure/DevOps engineer to provide L3 support for customers hosted on public cloud and drive automation for infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with product teams, lead troubleshooting, and help evolve cloud deployment strategies.

Requirements include 3–5 years in Azure, IaC tools, and scripting skills, with familiarity in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management and DevOps.
• Experience with Azure IaaS, incident resolution, change management and service requests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Our Current Technical Environment

Our technical environment includes modern cloud and DevOps tooling with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, ARM, Bicep), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS). We leverage Azure and OCI platforms, automation frameworks, microservices architecture, and observability tools, while also adopting emerging technologies such as GenAI and AI/ML.

What You’ll Do

• This role is central to our DevOps culture, focusing on automating infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the continuous delivery and operational excellence of our applications.
• You will collaborate with Product development teams, lead troubleshooting efforts, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management and DevOps
• Responsible for providing L2 operational support for Azure IaaS, including incident resolution, change management, and service request handling
• Flexibility to work in shift-based support rotations, manage escalations, and coordinate with Microsoft support when required.
• Experience working with Azure resources (VMs, Storage, Networking, Traffic manager, Application Gateway).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Good experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
• Basic to intermediate scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting in Azure.
• Proficiency in fundamental Linux commands for day-to-day operations.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure Functions, Application Gateway, Event Hub, Storage, Azure Traffic manager, Front Door, Backups, Azure Site Recovery and Entra ID).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins and Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub and source control best practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Good Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
• Good experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Understanding of databases (SQL, MariaDB, and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture. (ID043)
