Job summary

PwC India is seeking a SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consultant to join the Advisory line of service. You will design, configure, and implement SAP IBP solutions across demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP, enabling clients to optimize planning processes and drive value.

A strong focus on client collaboration, workshops, and cross-functional integration will be essential. The role requires 5–10+ years of consulting or industry experience and hands-on SAP IBP configuration (3–5+ years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Official SAP Certified Application Associate — SAP Ariba Sourcing/Contracts/SLP designation.
• Exposure to Ariba Downstream modules (Guided Buying, Invoicing).
• Mandatory: CLM/SIPM/ECC/CIG

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design, configuration, and testing of SAP IBP modules (Demand, Supply and Response, Inventory, or S&OP).
• Assess current client supply chain planning maturity and roadmap future-state capabilities aligned with business goals.
• Lead design workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate standard SAP IBP capabilities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP IBP with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and external non-SAP systems.
• Manage project workstreams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Assist in proposal development, scoping, and value proposition creation for prospective clients.

Role Overview

You will help global clients transform their supply chain planning capabilities, bridging strategy and digital execution. • Functional Expertise: Deep understanding of sales and operations planning (S&OP), demand sensing/forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning heuristics/optimizer.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel‑based UI, Web UI configuration, SAP IBP analytics, and CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services).
• Soft Skills: Excellent client‑facing communication, problem‑solving, and presentation abilities.
