Job summary

R1 RCM India is seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team in designing healthcare software reporting systems. You will work with Azure Cloud, .NET technologies, and modern UI frameworks to deliver scalable, secure software in an Agile environment.

You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and participate in system testing, deployment, and continuous improvement efforts, contributing to high-quality releases and innovative AI-enabled projects.

Qualifications

• 3 - 7 years of experience designing and developing Cloud native solutions in the Azure stack.
• Experience with .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC Web Development.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and database design.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and product backlog management.
• Exposure to AI projects; GenAI/Agentic AI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and develop scalable solutions using Azure Cloud and .NET.
• Mentor engineers and trainees in best practices.
• Lead design reviews and ensure code quality.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services with modern UI tech.
• Participate in Sprint demos and project delivery.

Summary: As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of the development team and participate in the design and development of healthcare software reporting systems. You will employ cutting-edge web-based and database technologies. Being an experienced person on the team, the expectation will be to mentor engineers and trainees. You will work closely with other team members for the delivery of projects.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Estimate and develop scalable solutions using Azure Cloud and .Net technologies in a highly collaborative agile environment with strong experience in C#, ASP.net Core, and Web API.
• Exposure to AI projects; real-time implementation for GenAI/Agentic AI preferred
• Guide team members to build software with the right engineering practices in the area of design, code, and testing.
• Conducts/participates in Code Reviews with Peers/Technical Lead.
• Performs unit, integration, and system testing to ensure quality release of the product.
• Contributes to system architectural design and planning discussions
• Identifies issues, conducts root cause analysis, recommends and implements solutions.
• Takes initiative and ownership to drive development projects and invests in self-development
• Actively participates in Sprint demos and presents the stories worked on.

Skills and Knowledge

• 3 - 7 years of experience designing and developing Cloud native solutions in the Azure stack, n-tier Web applications using .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.Net, WCF, and C#, MVC 4/5 Web Development, RESTful API Services, Web API, and JS.
• Exposure to Agile Scrum and associated framework, User Stories /product backlog, and ADO / JIRA Usage.

• Proficiency with SQL Server and database design.
• Experience with web service technologies (SOAP, REST).
• Should know scripting frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS
• Experience with source control like Git, Bitbucket, GitHub is preferred.
• Proven experience with AJAX, jQuery, Angular 2/4, JavaScript, CSS
• Knowledge of SOLID principles
• Working experience with design principles, including design patterns.
• Good to have exposure to one or more implementations of CI & CD using Octopus Deploy Dockers containerization
• Knowledge of API development with understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
• Expertise in unit testing frameworks (XUnit/NUnit/MSTest) and integration testing
