Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a professional for in-service engineering and technical support across the Airbus fleet. You will handle daily engineering queries (ATA 22/23/34/46), provide on-site or remote support, and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.

The role requires 5–8 years in relevant roles, strong avionics knowledge, and airline operations familiarity. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams and may travel as needed to support customers.

Qualifications

• 4-year aeronautical engineering degree required.
• 5–8 years relevant experience in aerospace/aviation.
• Avionics systems knowledge is essential.
• Airline operations knowledge highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Answer daily customer engineering queries regarding the Auto Flight, Navigation and Communication (ATA 22/23/34/46) for the Airbus commercial fleet and all customers, on time quality.
• Provide on-site or virtual assistance as required after discussion with Airlines or their representatives.
• Ensure that customer technical concerns are assessed and addressed within defined timeframes.
• Analyze in-service events to identify impacts on safety, airworthiness, reliability, quality, and cost, and provide appropriate response.
• Monitor and analyze in-service events to identify impacts on airworthiness, reliability, quality, cost, and comfort.
• Launch corrective actions with the relevant program and design organisation, ensuring progress during investigation as voice of the customer.
• Provide feedback of in-service experiences to management, design organization, and suppliers.
• Review Service Bulletins and contribute to inspection bulletin creation.
• Create clear technical presentations and present in forums and meetings.
• Use and develop dashboards with Airbus tools (e.g., Skywise Services) to provide visibility on product reliability.
• Travel for business as required and participate in standby rotations to support AOG queries.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer daily engineering queries regarding the Auto Flight, Navigation and Communication (ATA 22/23/34/46) for the whole Airbus commercial fleet and all customers, on time quality.
• Follow up as required through discussions with the Airlines or their representatives and provide on-site / virtual assistance where when necessary.
• Ensure that all technical concerns and needs, raised by the customer, are well assessed and addressed within the defined time scale.
• Analyze all reported in-service events or queries to identify potential impacts on safety, airworthiness, reliability, quality, cost of operations and ownership, passenger and crew comfort and provide appropriate response.
• Monitor, consolidate and analyse all in-service events, identify potential impacts on airworthiness, reliability, quality, cost of ownership, passenger and crew comfort, and operational cost.
• Launch appropriate corrective action with the relevant program and design organisation and ensure the required level of progress and follow-up during the investigation phase acting as the voice of the customer to ensure the problem solution is in the best interests of the customer.
• Ensure feedback of in-service experience, maintenance activities and significant issues to management, design organisation and the suppliers.
• Review Service Bulletins and provide inputs for inspection service bulletin creation.
• Create clear, precise and value added presentations on technical topics and present in technical forums (from technical meeting to Worldwide symposium).
• Use / develop dashboards using data analytics Airbus tools (typically Skywise Services), to provide visibility on Airbus product reliability.
• This role may require some travel for business and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.
• This role may also require taking a few turns on team stand-by rotation to support AOG queries outside of normal business hours.

About you, required skills

• Educated to a 4-years Aeronautical engineering degree (or equivalent)
• 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant roles
• Experience and/or knowledge of Avionics Systems is must
• Airline operations knowledge
• Prior experience in In-service activities preferred
