Responsibilities

• SAP BASIS Administration: install, configure, maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager).
• AMS Support: day-to-day support for SAP systems in production and non-production environments.
• Implementation & Migration: participate in SAP system installations and upgrades, cutover activities.
• Security & Compliance: manage roles, authorizations, and backups; ensure IT security and audits.

Responsibilities

SAP BASIS Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager)


• Perform system copies, client administration, and transport management


• Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks


• Apply patches, support packages, and kernel upgrades

AMS Support

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP systems in production and non-production environments


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BASIS


• Coordinate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution


• Ensure system availability and performance SLAs are met

Implementation & Migration

• Participate in SAP system installations and landscape design


• Support SAP upgrades and migrations (OS/DB, HANA, cloud)


• Assist in planning and executing cutover activities


• Collaborate with project teams during go-live and hypercare phases

Security & Compliance

• Manage user roles, authorizations, and profiles


• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements


• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures
