Job summary

PwC India is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP Solution Manager environments. You will collaborate with Basis, Functional, and Development teams to ensure efficient SAP operations and governance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP SolMan experience, ALM knowledge, and exposure to ChaRM, ITSM, and monitoring. 2–7 years of SAP SolMan work will be advantageous, with a focus on enterprise-scale SAP landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 2-7 years of SAP Solution Manager experience.
• SAP Solution Manager certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and support SAP Solution Manager (7.2) landscapes.
• Implement and maintain Change Request Management (ChaRM) processes.
• Manage Solution Documentation, Business Process Documentation, and Process Management.
• Configure and support IT Service Management (ITSM) and Service Desk functionalities.
• Implement and monitor Technical Monitoring, System Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, and End User Experience Monitoring.
• Support Test Suite, Test Planning, Test Execution, and Defect Management activities.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as Workload Analysis, Exception Analysis, and Trace Analysis.
• Manage Focused Build, Release Management, and Transport Management processes.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis teams for system setup, diagnostics agents, managed system configuration, and SolMan upgrades.
• Ensure SAP best practices and compliance standards are followed across SAP landscapes.
• Troubleshoot SolMan‑related issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support integration with SAP Cloud ALM and other monitoring tools where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
