Job summary

GetixHealth, LLC is seeking an experienced Inpatient ICD-10-PCS Coder to join our Health Information Management team in Bangalore. You will assign ICD-10-PCS procedure codes and ICD-10-CM diagnoses for inpatient encounters and ensure accurate MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignments.

You will identify reportable conditions (HACs/PSIs), support documentation improvement and revenue integrity initiatives, and follow coding guidelines to ensure compliant, timely coding.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records to identify reportable diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign ICD-10-PCS procedure codes and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes using guidelines and UHDDS rules.
• Validate MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignments and sequence correctly for reimbursement.
• Identify POA indicators, HACs/PSIs, CC/MCC, SOI/ROM drivers; support coding accuracy.

• Assign accurate ICD-10-PCS procedure codes and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes using Official Coding Guidelines, Coding Clinic guidance, UHDDS rules, and facility policies.
