Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Manager to lead advisory engagements in SAP practice. You will engage in SAP SuccessFactors opportunities, guide client through implementation, and manage project delivery.

The role requires minimum 13 years of experience in project management, PMO exposure, and strong MS Project skills; you will coordinate with module leads and delivery teams across Go Live and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 E2E project management experience
• Experience with at least one full cycle SAP implementation
• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Project and other PM tools

Responsibilities

• Engage in SAP SuccessFactors opportunities and assess customer readiness
• Be the primary client contact throughout the implementation
• Scoping workshops; validate effort estimates and timelines
• Create baseline Project Plan and service delivery transition
• Coordinate with Resource Team to allocate project resources
• Follow SAP Activate Methodology across project streams
• Update Project Plan, weekly status, budgets, risks, and issues
• Guide customer on Change Management, Training and Testing
• Escalation handling and collaboration with delivery teams

Job Description & Summary

As a Manager , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities

• Engage in SAP SuccessFactors opportunities and assess customer's functional and technical readiness to move to SFSF and the Cloud
• Be the primary contact of your client throughout the implementation project
• Scoping workshops and Validate effort estimates and implementation timelines
• Create baseline Project Plan and propose the service delivery transition
• Work with Resource Team and plan and allocate resources to projects
• Follow SAP Activate Methodology and project streams to implement projects
• Engage with practice leads and update Project Plan, complete weekly status report, budget/burn rates, issue tracker and risk register
• Guide customer on processes such as Change Management, Training and Testing
• Effectively handle escalations from customer and resolve issues. Work collaboratively with delivery team and line manager throughout the different project phases.
• Facilitate Project Kick Off meetings
• Conduct daily team meetings, weekly project meetings with internal team as well as with the customer
• Support consultants to remove barriers for them, to help them achieve their deliverables
• Coordinate with module leads and provide best/leading practices and guidance on cross module process and data integration
• Define project document management framework and leverage SAP Jam for all project materials.
• Ensure all project documents are owned by right team members and latest versions are available for future reference
• After Go Live, follow up with customer on any outstanding issues

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2-3 E2E project management experience Experience with at least one full cycle implementation.
