Job summary

PwC in Bengaluru, India seeks a high-impact GTM Director to open and develop new accounts across Global Capability Centers. The role combines deep cybersecurity, data governance, and C-suite relationship skills to drive pipeline growth.

You will lead Purview governance initiatives, automate data workflows with PowerShell and Python, and collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure governance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Purview Data Map, scanning, classification, and metadata management.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI for Purview APIs.
• Experience managing and automating data source registration and scan scheduling for cloud and on-premises data sources (Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 governance, including SharePoint and Teams data policies and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Power Platform migrations including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI tenant-to-tenant migration.
• Solid understanding of data governance foundations: cataloging, accountability, traceability, security, privacy, compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enablement and management of Microsoft Purview for enterprise data sources both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain custom automation scripts to interact with Purview APIs for data source registration, scan configuration, rule set creation, and scheduling.
• Create and manage Purview Domains, Collections, and Data Catalogs to ensure metadata capture and data lineage tracking.
• Perform manual and automated registration of data sources, followed by test scans to validate metadata harvesting and data classification accuracy.
• Define and implement data governance policies across Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Teams, focusing on data accountability, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Support migration activities for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) between tenants while maintaining governance and security posture.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to establish data lifecycle management protocols, data sharing agreements, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on governance maturity, data quality, and compliance metrics using Purview dashboards and custom scripting.
• Document automation workflows, governance processes, and operational guidelines to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Purview enhancements and best practices to optimize governance and automation strategies.

We are seeking high-impact GTM Directors to join our GCC markets team.
