Qualifications

• Experience with data sources such as Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 governance, including SharePoint and Teams data policies and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Power Platform migrations between tenants.
• Solid understanding of data governance foundations: cataloging, accountability, traceability, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities to engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Purview governance projects across data sources.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to interact with Purview APIs for registration and scanning.
• Create and manage Purview Domains, Collections, and Data Catalogs to ensure metadata capture and data lineage.
• Define data governance policies across Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Teams.
• Support migrations of Power Platform tenants while maintaining governance and security posture.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to establish data lifecycle management and data sharing agreements.

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking high-impact GTM Directors to join our GCC markets team. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role focused on opening and developing new accounts across Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, the ideal candidate will combine deep cyber security, technical, digital and domain expertise with a proven ability to build C-suite relationships, shape large deals, and drive pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enablement and management of Microsoft Purview for enterprise data sources both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain custom automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and CLI to interact with Purview APIs for data source registration, scan configuration, rule set creation, and scheduling.
• Create and manage Purview Domains, Collections, and Data Catalogs to ensure thorough metadata capture and data lineage tracking.
• Perform manual and automated registration of data sources, followed by test scans to validate metadata harvesting and data classification accuracy.
• Define and implement data governance policies across Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Teams, focusing on data accountability, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Support migration activities for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) between tenants while maintaining governance and security posture.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to establish data lifecycle management protocols, data sharing agreements, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on governance maturity, data quality, and compliance metrics using built-in Purview dashboards and custom scripting solutions.
• Document automation workflows, governance processes, and operational guidelines to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
