Job summary

PwC Bengaluru seeks a Senior Purview Consultant to lead end-to-end Purview deployments and craft enterprise compliance architectures, advising on data protection, insider risk, and regulatory programs.

The role requires 4–7 years in M365 Security & Compliance with Purview leadership, hands-on labeling, DLP, eDiscovery, and global regulatory knowledge. SC-400 certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in M365 Security & Compliance with Purview leadership.
• Hands-on Purview Information Protection & auto-labeling.
• Experience with Endpoint DLP, adaptive protection, insider risk.
• Ediscovery Premium & legal hold strategy.
• Compliance Manager & audit readiness.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR/DPDPA/HIPAA/SOX/PCI-DSS.
• SC-400 certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead Purview deployments across eDiscovery and Audit.
• Design label taxonomy, retention models, and policy hierarchies.
• Lead stakeholder workshops with Legal, Compliance, HR, InfoSec, and IT.
• Own Insider Risk & eDiscovery operating models, workflows, and escalation paths.
• Integrate Purview controls with Defender, Intune, and identity signals.
• Provide governance for Copilot and AI readiness using classification and DLP controls.
• Mentor junior consultants and review technical designs.
• Define KPIs, compliance maturity models, and value realization metrics.
