Job summary

PwC is seeking an Associate-level professional for its Advisory line to secure and govern enterprise data using Microsoft Purview. You will implement data maps, scanning, classification, and metadata management while developing automation to register data sources and schedule scans.

You will collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to enforce governance, privacy, and regulatory measures across Microsoft 365 services, Power Platform migrations, and data lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Purview Data Map, scanning, classification, and metadata management.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI for Purview APIs.
• Experience with data source registration and scan scheduling for cloud and on-premises sources.
• Proficiency in M365 governance including SharePoint and Teams data policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead enablement and management of Microsoft Purview for enterprise data sources (on‑premises and cloud).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to register data sources, configure scans, and manage classifications.
• Create Purview Domains, Collections, and Data Catalogs for metadata capture and data lineage.

Job Description & Summary:

We are seeking high-impact GTM Directors to join our GCC markets team. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role focused on opening and developing new accounts across Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, the ideal candidate will combine deep cyber security, technical, digital and domain expertise with a proven ability to build C-suite relationships, shape large deals, and drive pipeline growth.

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enablement and management of Microsoft Purview for enterprise data sources both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Develop and maintain custom automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and CLI to interact with Purview APIs for data source registration, scan configuration, rule set creation, and scheduling.
• Create and manage Purview Domains, Collections, and Data Catalogs to ensure thorough metadata capture and data lineage tracking.
• Perform manual and automated registration of data sources, followed by test scans to validate metadata harvesting and data classification accuracy.
• Define and implement data governance policies across Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint and Teams, focusing on data accountability, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Support migration activities for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) between tenants while maintaining governance and security posture.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data owners to establish data lifecycle management protocols, data sharing agreements, and regulatory compliance measures.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on governance maturity, data quality, and compliance metrics using built-in Purview dashboards and custom scripting solutions.
• Document automation workflows, governance processes, and operational guidelines to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Microsoft Purview enhancements, industry standards, and best practices to continuously optimize data governance and automation strategies.

Required Skills and Experience
