Implementation and Data Specialist

Responsibilities
- Maintain end-user technologies/apps that support client deliverable production
- Become expert with the taxonomy structure
- Maintain data integrity and validation of data.
- Support internal clients and provide clarity around new data additions
- Learn about products, processes, and product delivery lifecycle
- Propose, manage, and pilot process improvement projects in coordination with Ops and IT
- Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the team
- Provide level 1 support to internal clients in their use of apps and in ingesting data service products
Required experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in computer science or engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a data management/ governance or equivalent role
- Hands‑on experience in modelling, automating, and implementing reporting needs
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis understanding
- Financial services industry exposure is an advantage
- Ability to multi‑task and is organized, focused, diligent and can work under tight deadlines
Required technical skills
- Solid understanding of python and/ or Excel VBA macro programming
- Sound in SQL to edit and run queries on a need basis
- Familiarity with Data Governance principles
- Experience in setting up reports using QlikView/ NPrinting, or similar apps is an advantage
