Job summary

Bahwan CyberTek is seeking a senior mobile architect to define and own the mobile app development strategy across Android, iOS, Flutter and React‑Native. You will lead architecture reviews, guide teams, and ensure scalable architectures with reusable libraries.

You will mentor engineers, set up lightweight CI/CD pipelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration with product and design to deliver high‑quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience across mobile and cross‑platform stacks.
• At least 5+ years in each mobile stack (Android, iOS, Flutter/React‑Native).
• Strong Kotlin, SwiftUI and one of Flutter or React‑Native.
• Production-grade hands-on development experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end mobile projects and cross‑functional teams.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, offline storage, and CI/CD practices.

• Define and own the Mobile App Development strategy and roadmap across major mobile tech stacks iOS, Android, Flutter, React-Native and KMP teams.
• Lead technical steering committees, architecture reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions.
• Prepare estimates, project plans, resource deployment strategies for proposals/pursuits of sales teams as and when required.
• Design and implement scalable mobile architectures in the respective development domains.
• Identify emerging technologies and frameworks to future-proof the mobile ecosystem.
• Establish architecture blueprints, coding standards, and reusable libraries.
• Write production-level code in multiple mobile stacks — balancing speed and maintainability.
• Work closely with engineers and guide them on delivering high quality outputs with high productivity.
• Introduce performance benchmarks, observability, and automated quality gates.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build beautiful, performant user experiences.
• Set up lightweight CI/CD pipelines and code quality gates that work for a small, nimble team.
• Cross train & mentor mobile engineers across mobile stacks so they are ready for any challenge.
• Stay plugged into the latest multiplatform & cross platform ecosystem updates, experimenting and prototyping fast.
• Help shape technical strategy — balancing speed, scalability, and innovation.

Skills

• 15 + years of Software Engineering experience (Android, iOS and 1 cross platform technology of Flutter/React-Native) with at least 5+ years in each mobile stack.
• Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for complex design, architecture, and performance challenges.
• Mentor engineers across all mobile tech stackes to develop strong Multiplatform expertise.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture walkthroughs.
• Build an engineering culture centered on excellence, ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
• Strong Kotlin, SwiftUI, and one of Flutter or React-Native skills
• Production grade hands-on experience.
• Understanding of Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI for modern UI architecture.
• Comfortable with RESTful APIs, offline storage, and sync mechanisms.
• Experience building apps end-to-end — from architecture to deployment.
