It additionally carries defined responsibility for fundraising across corporate (CSR) and individual channels, and supports other organisational initiatives. The role suits a professional able to manage programme development, compliance, and resource mobilisation concurrently, to a standard that withstands audit and funder due diligence.

Key responsibilities
Programme development
  • Design new programmes and strengthen existing ones across education, skilling, and livelihood, from concept to a working delivery model for urban as well as rural India
  • Lead the learning and development function, including curriculum, session plans, and facilitator training, and maintain quality as programmes scale.
  • Embed monitoring and evaluation into every programme, with clear baselines, objectives, and outcome measures.
Statutory and regulatory compliance

Fundraising (CSR and individual)
  • Own the funding pipeline across CSR, foundations, and individual giving, from prospecting through proposal to close. Prepare proposals, concept notes, and budgets that are specific, defensible, and free of double-counted overhead, with a calculable cost per beneficiary.
  • Support donor relationships and deliver accurate, on-time utilisation and impact reports.
Partnerships and support
  • Develop and manage partnerships with non-profits, training institutes, and government agencies, including MoUs and reporting obligations.
  • Support board reporting, documentation, and other organisational initiatives as priorities require.

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Development Studies, Social Work, Public Administration, Education, or similar).
  • Familiarity with M&E frameworks, government grants, and an existing network of CSR and philanthropic funders.
  • English and Hindi essential; Marathi strongly preferred.
