Job summary

GyanSys Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an SAP tax specialist to lead tax configuration across SAP modules and ensure compliance with U.S. tax rules.

You will define tax procedures, validate Vertex integration, write and execute test scripts, and support UAT and audits while coordinating with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP tax configuration across procedures, codes, and jurisdiction codes.
• Experience with Vertex O Series integrated with SAP.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Sales and Use Tax requirements.
• Experience writing and executing test scripts for tax transactions in SD, MM, and FI.
• Ability to interpret Vertex tax calculations and trace issues between SAP and Vertex.
• Experience coordinating with external partners and offshore teams.
• Strong defect analysis and root-cause identification skills.
• Support for UAT and business process validation.
• Knowledge of SAP transports, configuration management, and change control.
• Documenting test evidence for audits/compliance.
