Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for an IT Infrastructure Technical Manager – Immediate Joiner, located in Chennai but will also allow work from home. The IT Infrastructure Technical Manager will be responsible for executing and managing technical projects of the company, optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, preparing and adhering to budgets, overseeing the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrading of the company’s IT systems, and ensuring that all activities comply with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • The candidate should bring a strong and solid foundation in IT architecture and delivery with 12-15 years of experience as an IT Technical Project Manager and solution architect and be aware of the latest IT trends and innovations.
  • Ideal candidate should be from a strong technical background with O365 and Azure migrations.
  • Worked with Onsite and Nearshore teams.
  • Should have knowledge on Network LAN & WAN, Security and Cloud solutions like Azure, AWS etc.
  • Good understanding and guiding team on end user’s area like workstation migration, desktop applications troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience in handling migration and transformation end to end engagement.
  • Should be able to articulate and defend project technical milestones achievements, challenges.
  • Should be able to understand the requirement and make decisions/suggestions on migration tools.
  • Should be able to prepare project status report and at the same time able to review technical documents.
  • Complete understanding of project documentation creation and technical document reviewing.
  • Defines project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
  • Establishes, plans, and executes major milestone reviews and decision gates to complete the program and project life cycle.
  • Ensures all the required products are produced and reviewed, including the technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution.
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information filters, validates and interprets them.
  • Lead, monitor, and motivate teams across the company and interact with staff at all levels in the organization.
  • Manage medium to large projects with more than 10 team members and be responsible for scope, schedule, and cost of the project.
  • Manage risks and issues in projects and lead them to closure.
