Job summary

Marsh in Mumbai/Pune is seeking a Senior Director – Project Management (Policy Servicing) to lead the Global Program Manager initiatives, coordinating strategic projects across departments and driving timely delivery. You will partner with the VSL and senior leaders to shape strategy and oversee execution teams in a fast-paced, hybrid setting.

You will oversee reporting, governance, and KPIs, driving process improvements while embedding operating models and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation.
• 15+ years of experience in operational oversight, strategy and planning, consulting roles.
• Proven record of successful delivery of end-to-end transformation/global projects.
• Experience in forming and leading multiple project teams delivering via multiple methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams).
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial acumen in managing and tracking projects and department financial targets.

Senior Director – Project Management (Policy Servicing) Grade H

What can you expect?

The Global Program Manager (GPM) in Policy Servicing is a strategic leadership position in support of the global value stream. GPM assists the Global Value Stream leader (VSL) in managing and coordinating strategic initiatives, managing financial objectives and KPIs and cross-functional projects. This role acts as a key liaison between the VSL and various departments, ensuring smooth execution, efficient workflow, and timely delivery of departmental priorities.

We will count on you for

• Strategy and Planning:
  Provide thought leadership in curating target state and coming up with a sound strategy to deliver results. Partner with global teams to craft detailed plans in support of global strategy.

• Program Execution:
  Support the planning, tracking, and implementation of strategic initiatives and operational projects led by the VSL. Oversee execution team(s) comprising of project managers, business analysts, product owners/ managers.

• Communication Facilitation:
  Serve as a liaison between the VSL and senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to facilitate clear and timely communication.

• Reporting and Documentation:
  Prepare presentations, reports, and operational summaries for the VSL and executive team to support decision-making.

• Process Improvement:
  Help identify operational inefficiencies and assist in developing and implementing process improvements.

• Data Analysis and Metrics Tracking:
  Collect and analyze operational data to monitor performance against goals and provide insights to the VSL.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with various teams to ensure smooth execution of VSL directives and company-wide initiatives.

• Driving the execution of OPEX / Falcon initiatives and delivering the benefits.

• Shaping and embedding Operating model, driving improved client and colleague experience.

• Shaping and delivering Transformation initiatives.

• Embedding controls, and risk mitigations.

• Enabling robust governance, metrics tracking, and reporting .

What you need to have:

• Minimum Graduation

• 15+ years of experience in operational oversight, strategy and planning, consulting roles.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Proven record of successful delivery of end-to-end transformation/complex / global projects, through all stages of project lifecycle

• Experience in forming and leading multiple project teams delivering via multiple methodologies

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.

• Commercial acumen in managing and tracking projects and department Financial targets and plans.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
