- Ph.D. with a first class distinction.
- Minimum of three years of post‑doctoral experience, or a contract position for fresh Ph.D. holders.
- Applicant must belong to SC, ST, OBC, or PwD category.
Pay Scale:
- Level 12 – Basic Pay ₹1,01,500 onwards.
- Level 11 – Basic Pay ₹89,900 onwards.
- Level 10 – Basic Pay ₹89,800 onwards.
Additional benefits include:
- Daily Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance.
- National Pension Scheme (NPS), Long-Term Care (LTC), telephone and book grants.
- Research Initiation Grant up to ₹25 lakh.
- Support for conferences.
- Young Faculty Fellowship ₹10,000/month and Faculty Chair ₹25,000/month.
- Monthly top‑up salary of ₹25,000 for the first three years.
